All three heaters top out at 1500 W, the usual limit for a US plug-in heater. The difference is how they deliver it. The Vornado MVH is a fan heater with a 5-year warranty, the Lasko 754200 is a cheap tabletop ceramic unit, and the De’Longhi Dragon 4 is a fanless oil-filled radiator.

Frequently asked questions

Can I plug a space heater into an extension cord?

Vornado's MVH manual says to plug the heater directly into a wall outlet and not to use an extension cord. Check your own heater's manual.

How far should a heater sit from furniture?

Vornado's manual says to keep combustible materials such as furniture, bedding and curtains at least 3 feet from the heater.

Does a 1500 W heater cost more to run than a smaller one?

All three draw up to 1500 W on high. Cost per hour is watts divided by 1000, times your electric rate. At 1500 W and 16 cents per kWh, that is 24 cents an hour.
